Hi there, I'm Jena!

I'm a graphic designer, floral illustrator, earth tone enthusiast, BHLDN Bridal Stylist, veteran debate nerd, and native California girl. I've always been a creative, and this is a space for my to share my artistic endeavors with the world.

My goal in life, and in my art, is simply to make beautiful things that we as humans can forge a connection with. I thrive on intrapersonal relationships, and look forward to every correspondence I’m able to have with my clients. Professionally, I thrive in a team-oriented environment and love to collaborate with other artists and professionals to create beautiful projects.

Typography has always been an interest of mine, and I started learning hand lettering when I was in 10th grade. I’ve since learned traditional and contemporary forms of calligraphy, and have found a passion for type arrangement and design. Coupled with my love of delicate illustration and clean, minimalist design, I have founded a simple style with carefully considered elements of color, type, and image.

The last four years have seen me in two states, four colleges, and a whole slew of other life changes. This upcoming Spring will mark my college graduation, and while I may not know exactly where I'll be a year from now, I am excited to see where I'll land.

Five random acts about me:

⁕ I'm first a solid Six on the Enneagram: call me driven, loyal, fierce, trustworthy , and self-reliant, but know that my attributes of such come from a long journey with mental health and introspection.

⁕ Road trips are my jam. My boyfriend Dylan and I have been on quite a few now (technically, our first real date was a week long road trip through California, Arizona, Utah an Nevada!)

⁕ Born and raised in Northern California, I now call the beaches of Southern California home. The diverse landscapes of California inspire me and my work, and I try to take advantage of the beautiful spaces all around.

⁕ My travel bucket list includes (but is in no way limited to): Iceland, Australia, Germany, Greece, Bali, Italy (again), Ireland, Thailand, and India.

⁕ In the last year, I've been lucky enough to take a range of three-dimensional classes in woodworking, ceramics, metalworking, fiber and printmaking!
