I believe in the exploration of mediums, and have come to truly value the time I spend learning new artistic forms while studying for my undergraduate degree. Below you will find some examples of my work in metalsmithing and jewelry design.

Metal: Western Bolo

Coming: Winter 2018

As a part of my jewelry design class, we were tasked with creating a bespoke piece with a functional tubing piece and integration of found material. I decided to create a bolo tie piece for my boyfriend’s upcoming Christmas gift. I illustrated and etched the desert landscape on the back panel, engraved the Jimmy Hendrix quote across the front face, wire-wrapped and strung each of the stones and leather ties, and ultimately cut, carved, fashioned, and finished the piece in a three-week class period.
